Twas the night before FPL GW1

Gentlemen and Alea, the wait is finally over! We are almost finally back for a new season of FPL. Congrats again to Logan for narrowly closing out the W last year, well deserved as he looks to defend his title.

A lot has changed since last season, we saw our fearless leader Niall retire from his coveted position as commissioner after a legendary run, and a new era begin. I got married, beat Earthbound, Millie got a few new toys, starting grilling and hitting the driving range, AND we saw an absolutely insane transfer window, with big names changing hands across the league's best.

We saw Newcastle shit the bed in not only the transfer window, but also the Sela cup losing 2-0 to Atleti! We saw Chelsea get crowned champions of the (club) WORLD (cup), and Tottenham somehow fumble the SuperCup like we all thought they would. We saw Yanited win the Summer series AND Hojlund score a goal (Cal and I saw it with our own eyes). Liverpool spent more money than I can imagine just to lose to the community shield to the red hot Crystal Palace, and Arsenal made big moves to find their missing piece to challenge the title this year. Not really sure what Man City did, but hoping Haaland had a nice time off too!

As your new commissioner I am honored to hold this title and thank you for this opportunity. I am happy to report this is our BIGGEST SEASON EVER!!
