Aaaaaaand we're back!🎉🎉🎉 Happy Thursday, man do those Friday games really sneak up you when you least expect it 😅 Time sure flies when you're having fun! And boy was this a fun week for many of us, especially me! Atleti clapped Real Madrid 5-2, Antoine Griezmann scored his 200th goal for the club🥹🥹🥹, we got our first CL W of the season (5-1 I might add) and oh wait...I'm sorry I thought this was my La Liga blog for a second!
Focusing on the matter and hand, we had a massive GW6 that we may look back to as a turning point for when the epic falloff began for Overratedpool. We saw Crystal Palace emerge as the true Dark Horse, Arsenal stole points back, and Spurs held their top 4 spot. Man City and Chelsea are lurking in top in 8, and surely not...am I reading this right? Man U sits comfortably at 14th, and...wait a min..Newcastle is a spot below them lmaoooooooooooOOOOOOOO 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brentford (3) - Man U (1) 😂
Surely...not...15th at least right? Not much else to say other than the system is still not working and Amorim's days are looking numbered. An Igor Thiago Brace and a stoppage time Jensen comfortably sealed this W for the pesky bees, but hey. At least Sesko didn't do the Wirtz 007 Classic! Looks like old man Hendo might make the national team just in time for the WC after all!
The craziest part is still without fail the post Man U glow up is going strong, just ask these guys! If we went back an wrangled the Man U players of just a few years ago and gave them a competent coach, I think they'd be a lock for top 4. Sadly for the Man U boys, this alternative universe is far away, and they're left to watch the team struggle week in and week out.

Chelsea (1)😂 - Brighton (3)
You know, I'm starting to think the only difference between Man U and Chelsea is the color of their jerseys. Because good lord is this Chelsea team musty right now. They let Arsenal reject Danny Welbeck drop a brace on their heads, conceding two goals in stoppage time (one to a guy named Maxim De Cuyper) to blow salvaging one point after yet another red (courtesy of Mr. Chalobah). This team lacks discipline, another story of too much money too little cohesion. Enzo continues to produce in FPL at least for those who have him.
Crystal Palace (2) - Liverpool (1)😂
Continuing the Hatewatch trifecta, we also had a Liverpool loss lmaooo. Now not to toot my own horn but I did say trouble was brewing right before Liverpool suffered this seismic L (and then going on to lose to Turkey's finest, Galatasaray 1-0 in CL to go 17th overall lmaooooOOOOO). I gotta say, I love what Palace is cooking under Glaser and Guehi's leadership. An early Sarr goal was met with a controversial Chiesa goal. But against the mafia, Eddie Nketiah shocked the world and bagged a 97th min winner, finally given Loserpool a taste of their own medicine.
The best/worst part is, Liverpool cheated and still lost!!! They had the most blatant extended handball that I've ever seen (other than the one highschool me produced against Muscatine pictured below) that should have called back their goal, but VAR truly called "Whatever Liverpool Need" and let it slide. First pic, Salah, second one, Me in highschool. Only one of us got called for a foul and got a yellow card and had to sit out 10 min. Tell me there isn't something fishy going on with Liverpool and VAR. Either that or Big Referee was always against me. SIR!! You must call it both ways, sir!

Meanwhile I know Arne Slot is in the locker room at half time giving speeches like this one. But it seems luck is catching up to Liverpool, and they're going to have to find their identity again if they want to stay on top.
Leeds (2) vs Bournemouth (2)
Ok apparently I am supposed to stop sleeping on Leeds, but here they are tieing Bournemouth. Semenyo (Also named Antoine) is cookin still so that's great. Rodon and the one and only Sean Longstaff bagged goals for leads! And Kroupi sealed the tie in the 93rd. On to the next one!
Man City (5) - Burnley (1)
God damnit I love Erling Haaland ⚔️🗡️ Absolutely dominant win from the Citizens as things initially looked bleak for us Haaland truthers. But fear not, a garbage time brace saved the day, and handsomely rewarded the Norse Faithful. Add in a Nunes goal, 2 Esteve OGs, and a Jaidon Anthony goal, and we have a nice 5-1 W for City.
Nott'm Forest (0) - Sunderland (1)
You know, this Sunderland team may be on to something. Surprising strong at the back, and doing what it takes to get results. Sunderland now stand at 5th after 6 weeks, can't say many expected this. NF on the otherhand are in great
Spurs (1) - Wolves (1)
Somehow Spurs remain top 4 despite being quite mid. They're still in striking distance, but they gotta find ways to get the full 3 against these kinds of teams. Last time I put Spurs ML in a Locks of the Week. Santiago Bueno opened the scoring, but a stoppage time equalizer from Palhinha settled it at one a piece.
Villa (3) - Fulham (1)
Ok now this is more like it from Villa. Could this be the start of a turnaround for the club, or just a rare bright spot in a disappointing season. Ollie Watkins finally bagged a goal, as well as McGinn and Buendia to make it 3 unanswered after an early opener from Jimenez.
Newcastle (1)😂 - Arsenal (2)
I gotta say, I love to see a big man cook up top. And for most of this game, it appeared Nick Woltemade's header was going to be the decider between these two mid sized clubs of equal skill. The German Giant opened the scoring after the league's top contender for Biggest Babyass Bitch Who Thinks He's Tougher Than He is Award Gabriel flopped after the tiniest of hands on his back, leaving the goal wide open to score on.
But after a Midrino goal, it would be Gabriel who would have the last laugh (after throwing a bow at NW's face), driving a dagger into the heart of the Toon in the 96th minute to take 3 points back on Liverpool. If Arsenal can keep finding these kinds of Ws, I think they can take the long awaited league title as Liverpool enters freefall.

West Ham (1) vs. Everton (1)
Damn you West Ham and Jarrod Bowen for Ruining a Pickford clean sheet!! Michael Keane with the opener. Rather classic 1-1 result for both teams.
Bonehead 🍖 vs. Big Brain 🧠 of the Week
We're gonna mix the mix up here and give on Boneheaded play and one Big Brained Play.
First, our Bonehead of the Week 🍖: Jake Jennings!!! Nice job playing Esteve who scored two own goals, and for putting up 5 less points across your whole team than captain Haaland put up alone! Please use your Wildcard before this gets out of hand!!
And now, our big Brains of the Week 🧠🧠🧠🧠: Haaland Triple Captainers! Congrats Mr. Timo, Roy, Salih, and Ed! Show your notes 📝🧐

But of all our Big Brainers, only one could come out as our Top Dawg. And that would be none other thannnnnnn.....
Top Dawg ⬆️🐶

Gyoalkeres - 85 Pts
Nice work from Mr. Timo Supremo to skyrocket himself into 4th place. Idk what YouTuber said to Triple Captain Haaland this week, but whoever it was must have found themselves streaming in the apartment of Mr. Timo and Mr. Salih. Ok enough speculation, the facts are that our dear Timo put up massive numbers to make a serious run for the top spot of our league. Much like Poker Timo on the River, a few last min plays helped Timo clutch Top Dawg.

Despite a -1 from Blanko Blanknandes, a massive game from Gabriel (scoring a 96th min winner) and a stoppage time brace from his TC saved his GW. Add in a Senesi 7 and Semenyo 7, and there you have it. Congrats lad, can't wait to see you figurately at the Emirates!
Bottom Dawg ⬇️🦮

Change Name - 26pts

Matt nooooooooooooooo - our first back to back Bottom Dawg of the season. Please for the love of god Matt get Haaland on your roster unless you want to buy a jersey lol. Now he swears he set his line up last week, but are we sure you set it this week?? Blanks from every single player other than Semenyo, and an Isak captain, Matt may now be the official heir to the Musty throne (taking it from Maclane). All hail Musty Matt!! Better luck next week, lad!
