GW15: The Aston Villa Thrilla! 😱🥬😂

Published on December 11, 2025 at 12:00 AM

15 down, 23 to go as we somehow swiftly approach the halfway point of the season and creep our way to the knockout rounds of European football. Cup games become more important, and each weekly battle paints a clearer picture of who will bring home the title in EPL and FPL.

This week brought some much needed calamity to the league, and the league is far from settled 15 weeks in. Let's see how everyone did!

Week in Review

Aston Villa (2) - Arsenal (1)

VILLA STUNS BOTTLE FC AS THE LEAGUE IS WIDE OPEN ONCE AGAIN!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🫣🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙🫙

Wow, I haven't seen this much drama involving a Villa since the last season of Love Island, and boy did Arsenal just give up 3 vital points to put City back in striking distance and to put Villa only 3, yes 3, points behind them. Typical Arsenal, all bark to start the season until it all begins to crumble for one reason or another. 19 other teams praying on their downfall and will make each week a grueling remind just how hard it is to sustain a title run. City seem poised to pounce, they been here all too many times before, and the moment is looking too big for our beginning of the season champs. While they hold the 1 spot in the CL currently, it's just a matter of time before the free fall enables for the wannabe mentality monsters. I mean seriously, look at the tantrum they threw after conceding after completely melting down in the box. A childish team lacking maturity to face adversity, complete and utter babies on the pitch. Anyways, ¡que tengan un buendia, Scott, Timo, y Roldan!

Bournemouth (0) - Chelsea (0)

Honestly, really nothing to say about this one other than Chelsea is looking more mid than ever as they continue to cower away from the most realistic shot at a title they've had in years. Throw in a mid week L to Atlanta in the CL as they drop out of top 8, and you could can see why they call them the Blues. Goals from no one settle this one.

Everton (3) - Nottingham Forest (0)

At this stage, truly every game matters and shifts the table. Another strong win for Everton and Forest re-enter the relegation fight (despite clapping Liverpool at Anfield a few weeks ago). Goals from Dewsbury Hall, Barry, and a Milenkovic OG settled this one. Shut out points for Pickford woohoo!

Also for any history fans out there, just learned who Everton legend Daniel Amokachi is, look up his story in the FA Cup, it's pretty epic (also involves a classic Spurs L lol)

Man City (3) - Sunderland (0)

Touuuugh sledding for Sunderland, as Man City finally are beginning to find consistent ways to score without Haaland having to do it himself. Despite the Halaand blank, goals from Gvardiol (nice), Ruben, and the very in-form Foden settle this one. Man City now sit just 2 points back from Arsenal, the gap is closing and the former champs are poised to feast on Arsenal's shakiness.

Newcastle (2) - Burnley (1)

Say it with me...HOWAY THE LADS!!!! 😈  Points are points for the lads as they take a much needed W thanks to Gordon and the gift that keeps on giving to Beef, Bruno G. A Flemming consolidation goal settled the score. 12th place for the a team still fighting to find consistency.

This Woltemade interview made more news than this game, the world continues to turn

Spurs (2) - Brentford (0)

Nice win for the Spurs thanks to Richarlison and new singing Xavi Simons. The Bees are looking a little less pesky lately, as they fall to 14th. Tottenham snag a much needed W after a poor run of games, currently sitting at 11th just above Newcastle.

Leeds (3) - Liverpool (3)

After going up in what looked like a bounce back result from Pool against a Leeds team that just gave Chelsea the hands, yet another absolute meltdown occurred as Leeds stole a point in stoppage time thanks to Tanaka. Despite an Ekitike brace (who would be subbed for Isak right before Leeds mounted their comeback) and a Doucheboszlai goal, heroic efforts from Calvert-Lewin, Stach, and Tanaka stopped Pool in their tracks and added more gasoline to the dumpster fire 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I called it looooong ago (week 5 to be exact), there was trouble brewing in paradise and boy has it amplified for Liverpool over the past few weeks as tensions rise, fans whine, and haters dine on this delicious downfall of the once mighty Liverpool. Club legends of old going against present day legends, Slot continues to churn out underperforming results, the Liverpool faithful continue to eat Ls and ties, just tremendous stuff here really.

It's certainly not atypical for Liverpool to push away its legends, and it's wild to see what feats they'll go to to tarnish the man who brought them back to the pinnacle of the footballing word. It usually doesn't end well when players go public about their grievances, is Salah officially done at Liverpool? Only time will tell, just know the popcorn is out. 🍿

Brighton (1) - West Ham (1)

Class finish from Bowen keep the Hammers fighting to stay afloat in what will be a season long relegation fight. They looked like they may get out with a W, but Georginio bagged a controversial equalizer late to settle the tie.

Fulham (1) - Palace (2)

Another great day to be a Guehi Guy as he bagged a goal for Palace. Wilson and Nketiah goals settled this one at 2-1 as Palace creeps back into top 4 over Chelsea.

Man U (4) vs. Wolves (1)

Never a doubt for Man U as they continue to pile on to Wolve's imminent relegation campaign after stealing their best player (and former Atleti man Cunha). Massive day for Bruno Fernandes with a brace and assist to give his owners a much needed pay day. Even Mount had a goal, Mbuemo on the sheet too with a consolation Bellegarde goal from Wolves to ruin clean sheet hopes.

What? Ye didn't actually believe Man U was gonna give Wolves their first W of the season, did ye Donkeh?

Galaxy Brain Plays of the Week 🧠

Many solid plays in this high scoring week

Galaxy Brained 🌌🧠

  • Bruno Fernandes holders, the blanks were worth the pain, I assume

  • Foden owners, the in-form run continues!

  • Timo's Free Hit, bringing in 44 pts from the midfield alone!

  • Bruno G owners, a strong differential that may be worth transferring in

Top Dawg ⬆️🐶

Women Respecters - 82 pts

Nicely done for resident Spurs fan and new father Andy Summergill who takes our top dawg spot this week. Absolute masterclass running a back 5 that generated 39 pts, with an even bigger galaxy play running 2 in the midfield with Bruno F and Xavi S that brought in 32 (galaxy play on Xavi Simons). The front three left a bit to be desired, but most everyone fell victim to the Haaland blank too. This W skyrocketed Andy into 30th, who will look to build on this momentum for the rest of the season. Take a bow lad!

Bottom Dawg ⬇️🦮

NBA Youngboy FC - 32 pts

Tough fantasy and real life soccer week for resident Chelsea Fan, Malin, whose whole team put up the same amount of points as our top dawgs 2 mid field players. Truly a tough break for NBA Youngboy FC, as his entire team blanked outside out a Guehi 8 and VDV 6. Surely better days are ahead, but it's a long way up from 27th place.

AAAAAAND That's all for GW15!! Frosty spin on the way courtesy of Scott thanks to a tremendous Atleti W. Speaking of Frosty and Atleti, here's a snow man I made!
