Haaaaaaaaaaappy Wednesday lads!!!🎉🎉🎉 Hope everyone had a great St. Paddy's Day!🍀🍀 A few of us craaaaazy guys shut Chicago down last weekend, was a good time. First things first, congrats to our frosty wheel winners of the week, James, Matt, Roy, and Timo🍦🍦🍦🍦 And congrats to all the team that made the champions league semis! Yes it seems the salt levels are rising exponentially in the chat, but hater are absolutely sick to their tummies it seems 🧂 Gonna be very sweet when Atleti, Man City, and none other than Southampton are the ones to end Arsenal's hopes and dreams, creating an astronomical collapse of epic proportions.
I am going to need everyone raise their arms to the sky and feel it in your heart, the manifestation is real, we can stop this madness if we #believe!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮🔮 But until then, here's the biiiiiiiiiig dirty GW30 recap! What a crazy milestone for the season!!!
Bournemouth (0) - Burnley (0)
Mid gonna mid, but every point is important for Burnley as their fight continues for the last 8 GWs. 4 draws in a row for Bournemouth as they cool off to 10th.
Brighton (1) - Sunderland (0)
3 Ws in 5 for Brighton, not terrible as they try to clay into conference league contention. Both teams fall to 10-10-10, if this were Mario Party that'd be 20 coins at least! Forgottable season for Brighton, but Sunderland will be happy to survive the season and head into the 2nd consecutive year of Prem.
Arsenal (2) 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 - Everton (0)
Biiiiig game for Dowman truthers, the kid seems legit. Goal from big Wompy to open it up in the 89th. Everton just couldn't hold out as two late daggers seal another 3 for Arsenal creating juuuust a little more separation at the top.
It's absolutely must win time from here on out for Man City, and as Arsenal approach a cup final, FA cup quarters, CL quarters, they'll be thankful to have a 2 game safety net. It's Bouremouth up next after some cup and CL games, then the all important showdown at the Etihad to either lock in the league, or open it right back up.
Remember, lift your hands to the sky and BELIEEEEEVE!!!🙌🙏🔮 Solid performance as well at home to lock in the CL W to advance to Sporting who just bagged 5 on Bodo. Hats off two good goals from Eze and Rice.
Newcastle (1) - Chelsea (0)
In the battle for who would go on to embarass themselves worse in Europe, Newcastle prevailed on both fronts. Stamford Bridget continues to let anyone pass through, and this time it was none other than the favorite to land the spot for the "Whole with wither away at Liverpool next?" after this audition is over.
Anyways, I present to you: leg 2s of 8-2 and 8-3 aggregates!😂😂😂😂😂😂 it be the teams down the worst that hate the hardest when you succeed. Thanks for the Frosty ammo, Beef, can't wait to hear more about how ass la liga is throughout the rest of the tournament from the outside looking in! Hope to see both Chelsea and Newcastle next year duking it out again with the big boys! 😉
West Ham (1) - Man City (1)
On one hand, this is funny because it pushes Tottenham one step closer to the proverbial edge. But on the other..fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck! This was one that shoulda been a W, but kudos to the Hammers, Alea must have done a little manifesting herself here. Now that Real Madrid laid the absolute smackdown on City, what better way to bounce back than sending a message to Arsenal in Carabao Cup final on Sunday? Let's just hope history repeats itself..
In Europe, what an absolute pitiful display against the real masters of the footballing dark arts, Real Madrid.
Crazy what a difference a season can make, Palace use to be so fun to watch! Big bank take little bank 🏦
Manchester United (3) - Aston Villa (1)
At least someone got the memo on the locks, nice bounce back from Man U in what many thought would be the MHGOTW. Man U technically aren't mathematically eliminated from winning the title this year, and actually have a decent chance at 2nd place. Bruno Fernandes is in remarkable form as he has premier league history on his mind to close out the season. Solid goals from Casemiro, Cunha, and Sesko overpower Rusty Ross Barkley to make it 3-1. Villa continue their run of awful form as they're winless in 4. Everything to play for to close out the season as Chelsea and Asspool breath down their necks.
Only 5 needed over the next 8 games to solidify his legendary status. Some biiiiig names up there
Let's take a look how Man U did in their leg 2 this week with quarterfinals on the line:
Nottingham Forest (0) - Fulham (0)
This race to the bottom is insane, 4 goals on GD safe from relegation and only 1 pt back on Spurs. 1 game back on Leeds. I gotta say the relegation race is gearing up to be more intense that the first place race! Hmmm..I wonder who forest play next? We're in for a treat!
Speeeeeeeeaking of Tottenham...let's uh check on that thrilling MHGOTW shall we?
Tottenham (1) - Liverpool (1)
Absolute assterclass from Liverpool to fumble it late against a wounded Tottenham 😂 Say what you will, the Tottenham ship aint sunk yet, and they fought back hard to snag a Richarlison equalizer. Still no Ws for Tottenham in the league this year. WILD!! Class freekick from Szoboszlai I will say, could use a guy like that as a back up midfielder over at Atleti with all this new Apollo cash. You'll never finish a game not alone?
Was a tale of 2 different paths in the CL though. Liverpool fights to see another day, Tottenham not quite doing enough to come back dispite a valliant effort at home.
Julian Alvarez in form is a beautiful thing..🥹🥹🥹🥹
Brentford (2) - Wolves (2)
Don't count Wolves out juuuuust yet! Nice to see Igor back on the scoresheet. 2 a piece settles it.
Boneheaded Plays of the Week 🍖
-
Timber players, particularly those who transferred in him this week (totally not me) WTF!!
-
Brian Powers, sick Watkins 0 bro!
-
Ekitike players (looking at you David Oliver!)
-
Sorry Kevans, leaving 22 on the bench was quite boneheaded, we need you to lock in against Beef!!
Wow Top Dawg and a Frosty, hell of a week for Roy!!🍦🍦🎉🎉🎉
Solid 10 from Senesi, 9 from Gabriel, 11 from Szoboszlai, 6 from Igor, and a big brain assist brace captain on Bruno "Borges" Fernandez to lock in. Take a bow Row, to celebrate this momentus achievement take a pic with Kuma and a frosty!
Im Sorry Nic Jackson - 25 pts
Cullen nooooooooo! Not again!! Officially not 3 digits above last place, just like in the real prem the race for last place is really heating up here too! Some big blanks and bad beats, including a Gudmundssen red (-2), no one went above 6pts. Just an absolutely musty showing 👃💩
