GW32: A Necessary Sacrifice 🫡🙏

Published on April 16, 2026 at 10:44 PM

Lads lads lads, absolutely massive run of games incoming from here on out. I can't lie, I'm pumped TF up to see how this all unfolds👀 The season has entered the rising action, and pure cinema is bound to ensue as the fight for the soul of football rages on. The battle of good vs. evil, and anti-football vs. the beautiful game inevitably reaches the stage where only actions can define destiny. Two teams duke it out for top spot on Saturday, while only 4 teams (including best team in the world Atleti) remain atop Europe's elite.

How did we get to this point when Arsenal had it all wrapped up coming into the gameweek?? Only one way to find out...this is...THE GW 32 RECAP!!😤😤😤😤😤

Week in Review

West Ham (4) - Wolves (0)

West Ham bouncing back from a tough few weeks to deliver an emphatic W over the pesky wolves 💪 Two braces from Mavropanos and Castellanos. This game would put the Hammers ahead of Tottenham to start the gameweek, but would this result hold?? More on this later

Bournemouth (2) - Arsenal (1) 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Somewhat ironic a guy with the last name Scott delivers the dagger to Arsenal. There really is no way around it, it was always going to be a showdown at the Etihad to determine whose title it is to lose. A slumping Arsenal in desperate need of a trophy, vs. a in-form, seasoned, level headed City who has been here before, I think I know how this one ends. The league is once again wide open when Arsenal have had countless chances to put this one away for good to focus on CL.

Speaking of CL, how would the "favorites" to win carry this astounding momentum into leg 2 at home against severe underdogs Sporting? 🤔

An absolute snoozer from Arsenal as they barely scrape by the worst team left in the competition. Sporting were the only side that showed up to play, unlucky to hit the post and come out of there empty handed. The "on fire", non-chalant gimmick is so cringey from Arsenal, who were visibly shook to juuust escape what would have been a catastrophic L. You can't fool us...the walls are closing in and Arsenal are terrified of who stands in front of them..none other than...

If they bottle it against Man City this weekend and Atleti win the Copa Del Rey, I expect another shocking "upset" is on the horizon (and 10 frosty spins courtesy of Mr. Timo). It is Atleti's destiny to get revenge! 😤💪💪

Brentford (2) - Everton (2)

Iiiiiigor brace, what a season from him, only 24 years old too! I wonder if any of the big boys will scoop him up soon. Lowkey a lot of teams could benefit from someone who just simply knows how to put one on target.  Everton showing good fight to bounce back from Igor's efforts with a 91st min equalizer from Dewsbury Hall. As it stands, Brentford is juuust sneaking into conference league while Everton sit on the outside looking in. Everything to play for to close out the season.

Burnley (0) - Brighton (2)

That should just about seal Burnley's fate yet again in the PL, maybe we'll see em back next year!

Liverpool (2) - Fulham (0)

A rare Liverpool W to calm Fulham's hopes of Europe and build some momentum going into leg 2 of top 8. Surely the Reds had some fight in em to bounce back against PSG right?

Surely such a performance can only mean one thing:

It's what the fans want, trust me! Honestly, Liverpool are really just Chelsea in red jerseys this year. All that spending with nothing to show for it - I expected more from yall! Disappointing year, but surely Slot brings back his season one magic next season! #10moreyears!

Crystal Palace (2) - Newcastle (1)

Let's run it back.....LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

This Newcastle team really is something man. With how tight the table is - Newcastle is in a unique situation where European qualification, including CL, and relegation are both still potential options. Excited to see how this one plays out for about to sell all my good players to better teams fc.

Nottingham Forest (1) - Aston Villa (1)

Villa staying afloat and giving NF a much needed point to stay a game over Spurs. Talk about a win-win in what proved to be a fairly mid game.

Sunderland (1) - Tottenham (0)

It's happened, it's really happened...Tottenham have officially fallen into the relegation zone. I can't believe how ass Tottenham are lol, truly remarkable stuff from a team who has STILL not won this year. IT'S APRIL!! APRIL!!! That's crazy work. The relegation race is bound for an insane finish with only 6 left in the tank, let's take a live look as this year's assiest teams:

Shout out Beef for this one, crazy stat:

Just throw in the towel already Spurs, this is absolutely shameful for how much was spent on this roster. Honestly, I'm not convinced they get out the championship first try if they go down once all their players jump ship.

Man City (3) vs. Chelsea (0)

Chelsea really taking one for the team here, love to see it! Absolute dominance from City to keep things within striking distance. By the way Chelsea rolled in with their tails already between their legs, you'd think they weren't competing for Europe and this game was played at the Etihad with only Man City fans in attendance. It's genuinely very sad to see the most expensive squad in the world playing like 2010 Stoke City. Like the Black Eyed Peas and JT once said: "Where is the love?"

Passionless squad putting out a shit product, relying on the ghosts of heroes past to carry the club's honors I miss the old Chelsea man, this is sad to watch 😔. Still have a shot at the FA Cup, but not looking great for the Blues. Trump's Club World Cup may have actually been the peak this year for a team who owes its fan more than what they're giving.

But all in, thank you for service, Blues 🙏 - you may have changed the course for how this season will end and for that we are grateful. You clearly chose right:

Fantastic bantering from this city fan as well, and who said they had no fans?? Hope we see this king this weekend.

Man U (1) 🟥 vs. Leeds (2)

Wow, Man U really said:

Another red for Man U altered the course of this one thanks to Pony Tail Pull by Martinez. Really throwing Leeds a bone as they look to have juuuust distanced themselves away from the relegation fight. Another assist for Bruno, who continues to be the bright spot for the Red Devils' hopes of going back to CL. 7 points safe with 6 weeks to go (and literally nothing else to play for), I think they close top 5 out and restore some much needed honor to the club.

Now back to FPL...

Galaxy Brain Plays of the Week 🍖

  • A veeeeeeeeery suspicious Mukiele play, 14 points against Relegationham

  • Man City Defender owners, O'Reilly absolutely coooookin, 14 points to bury Chelsea. A Guehi goal (better touch than Gyokeres) to lock in a solid 15. Massive

  • IIIIIIGOOOOOOR truthers, wonderful brace from the lad to lock in 13. Big brain captain from Maclane is a week of blank traps.

  • Ed, nice Bowen play to lock in 14.

  • Calvary, nice job playing Mateta in a game where he absolutely clapped Newcastle

  • Vance, nicely done with the Roefs 11, veeeery close to top dawg. but not close enough...

Top Dawg ⬆️🐶

alexanderBEEFsak - 71 pts

The rich get richer as Beef goes 126 points clear of 2nd place Timo. The only member of the 1900 club and soon to be 2000 club, Beef has managed to sustain his form throughout the entire season.

Notable contributions from O'Reilly and Mukiele with 14 a piece, a solid 9 from virg, and an Igor 13 settle TD by just one point. It's gonna take a miracle to dethrone Beef with 6 to go.

Bottom Dawg ⬇️🦮

Blaze Bots - 18 pts

Uhhh Patty, this may be the worst showing of the season lol. What an absolute shocker where 4 of his starting 11 put up ZERO points. Top scorer, a Morgan Rogers 5. Just an absolutely wild week to plummet Blaze down to 40th and under 100 up on Roldan. Anything can happen in the last 6 games!! Behold..pure booty:

BIIIIIIG REMINDER: SET THOSE LINE UPS!!! Biiiiig double gameweek incoming, as well as the infamous MHGOTW! Have a great weekend lads, biiiiig Copa Del Rey final incoming. Aupa Atleti!!! ❤️🤍
